I just have to clarify that while Amy and Tristan were out whooping it up with some crazy Algerian-French police officers, Stacey and I were sedately enjoying dinner at Trocadero Square overlooking the Eiffel Tower. We walked along the Seine River and waited for the Eiffel Tower to light up. It lights up every hour after dark for five minutes and sparkles in the Paris sky night sky like a shimmering Christmas tree. Then we quietly rode the train back to our hotel and were in bed by 11:00. Long before our partying compatriots straggled in.
